Thematically linked, AngelA Del Buono, emily muir and Juliana Schewe each contemplate relationships to the home. Positioning herself as an observer, Del Buono investigates domestic spaces abandoned, left behind to deteriorate. muir explores themes of security and uncertainty, using windows and doorways, both portals and portents of change, where the outside and inside meet. Schewe's images are a nostalgic meditation on the reclaiming of a personal space, while undergoing a period of physical and psychological transience. These explorations into three different relationships with the home merge with their similarities and expand with their differences, revealing multiple narratives.
